ETHICAL CODE OF CONDUCT

Estanterías Simón has a Code to define the guidelines of ethical conduct that all the staff and collaborators of the company must comply with in their relations with the interested parties. These guidelines for ethical conduct are based on our values and on the 10 UN Global Compact Principles.

PICARRAL FOUNDATION

Estanterías Simón participates in this Foundation's project by favouring the social and labour insertion of people (especially young people) who, for different reasons, have been left out of a regular process of social integration. www.fundacionpicarral.org

TXEMA ELORZA FOUNDATION

Estanterías Simón participates with the Txema Elorza Foundation, whose objective is to promote social action to improve the working conditions and quality of work of workers in the hardware and DIY sector, as well as to help families in need in this sector of activity. It also promotes and fosters a culture of human and professional values for the improvement of the exercise of the profession in the commercial, industrial and group spheres in the hardware and DIY sector, which has a direct impact on the service to citizens and other professionals. www.fundaciontxemaelorza.com

COOPERATION WITH CARITAS

Estanterías Simón collaborates with the social work carried out by the team of Cáritas Interparroquial de Pinto, which, in a letter, is deeply grateful for the donation of the shelves that they needed to organise the clothes and food storage.

For Estanterías Simón, it is a pleasure (and a necessity) to act on behalf of the most needy; and we are delighted with the words of thanks received from Cáritas: 'Your support makes it possible to dignify and facilitate our work with the most disadvantaged'.

ZARAGOZA WOMEN'S FOOTBALL CLUB

Estanterías Simón joins this project and supports the growth of women's football in Zaragoza, Aragón and Spain through the reference club in our Autonomous Community. Learn more about this project.

VILLAMAYOR "ALDEAS INFANTILES" COLLABORATION

Estanterías Simón collaborates with the SOS Children's Village in Villamayor, a programme that offers a family environment to children and young people who for one reason or another can no longer live with their parents.
Five to six children of different ages (mainly sibling groups) live in a family home together with a responsible educator (SOS mother). Between six and ten homes, similar in structure, but different in space distribution and decoration, form an SOS Children's Village. It also has leisure areas (playground, sports area, multipurpose room...) The methodology of SOS Children's Villages has as its main focus the home and foster a family environment to promote the welfare and overall development of children. Learn more about this project.
